We need to replace an actor who was transferred at the last moment.
We need a quick learner with a lot of
comic energy.

In A Poet’s Mind is the story of a celebrated poet who has to come to
terms with his life. He has lived
inside his mind most of his life and when tried to live in a “real
world” by rejecting his muses he had a
nervous breakdown. Now that he needs them – his muses rebel!
Auditions will consist of readings from the
script. Prepared monologues are not required but always welcome.

1 role available. Either male or female.

Performance dates are: April 21 and 22 at 7:30pm at the Thomas

Announcer needed ASAP

U.S Ice Sports Complex (Fairview Heights) is having competition on
Saturday,
April 1st @ 11 AM. An announcer is needed to introduce competitors and
classes.

There is no pay, however you do get to eat for free and spend some
time with
the good people at U.S Ice Sports complex. (Figure skaters!). We
really
need this! So if there is anyone that can help us out it will be well
appreciated;] You may even be able to get a video copy and good
material
for your resume! Heck, even a reference?

Part-time paid technical assistants needed

Part-time technical assistants needed to assist with local event in University City April 24-30. Crew work may include: load-in and load-out, light hang and focus, costume stitching and dressing, and light, sound, and follow spot operation.

 

Salary $15/hour. Requirements include: experience with technical theatre, ability to work well with COCA artists, and the ability to lift 50 or more lbs. Ever wanted to be a Monkey?....

.....of the Magic Smoking Monkey variety? Now's your chance.

Magic Smoking Monkey Theatre needs a rehearsal stage manager starting on
Monday, April 3 through the load-in on May 6 for THE TEN COMMANDMENTS: LIVE.
Basic stage management responsibilities will include running rehearsals,
typing and emailing rehearsal logs and peeling lots of bananas!

Plus, the upside is you don't have to call or run the show!

There's not a lot of pay for the Monkey shows, but there is a small stipend.

Auditions for short film

Kerriffic Pictures is looking for actors to fill two male leads for
the short film "All In". This is being produced as part of of the
Coming Up Shorts program that will air later this summer on KDHX TV.

WHERE: Webster University in the Sverdrup Building inside the TV

Headshots and monologues are welcomed.

We are looking to fill the following roles:

Nerdy Kid: early 20's, mathematical genius who is playing poker
against the biggest hoods in town.

Abraham Lincoln: 30-60, the man within the Kid's imagination

The shoot will be from April 29-30th. This is a great opportunity to
be seen on television.

Casting Short Film on April 8th

Triple Threat Productions will hold an open casting for its latest
short film entitled, "Ea$y 50," on April 8th at the Regional Arts
Commission.

K's Theatrical Korps is holding auditions for its June musical,  “Beehive”, created by Larry Gallagher.
This show needs six talented women to sing the music of the 60’s.  It includes songs by the Shirelles, the Supremes, Lesley Gore, Petula Clark, Patti LaBelle, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Janis Joplin, Connie Francis, Brenda Lee and others.

Sound Board Operator

ECHO Theatre Company is looking for someone to run the sound board
for their upcoming production of THE SUGAR SYNDROME, By Lucy Prebble.
The show opens Friday, March 31 and runs through April 15. Showtimes
are Friday-Saturdays @ 8pm and on Sundays @ 3pm.

The person would have to be at rehearsals beginning this Tuesday
night, March 28. They would need to be at the theatre every night
during tech week through the opening weekend.

There is a small stipend for the job.

The show is playing at the Tin Ceiling Theatre, 3159 Cherokee Street
(At Compton), St. Louis, MO.
