Audition Requirements:
1) Audition appointments are 20 minutes each.
2) Cold readings from the script will be provided for auditions.
3) Please bring a resume and a headshot or current photo unless you

Show Synopsis:
“Quake” by Melanie Marnich Directed by Sarah Armstrong
Lucy is on the “move,” a word that becomes her mantra in an
idealistic search for the “big love” of her life. She becomes
involved in a succession of surreal, contorted affairs with men and
an infatuation with That Woman, a notorious female astro-physicist
turned
serial killer, hungering for her power and velocity. Trying to find
her pace, moving with the world, Lucy longs to know the intensity of
a human connection.

Available Roles:
3 Women
Lucy: impressionable young woman searching for the “big love” in her
life afraid to slow down, propelled by a voice within her.
That Woman: a quasi-symbolic figure – who is an astrophysicist-turned-
serial killer with brilliant control and power.
Clerk, Flight Attendant, Psychiatrist: stereotypical characters that
boarder on being absurd.

3 Men
Each plays several different stereotypical men that come into Lucy’s
life for better and worse.

Non-Union extras needed for Feature Film

The Feature Film “Bill” will be shooting in St. Louis June 1st thru July 15th. Anyone age 16 to 60s who is interested in working as a non-union extra in the film can attend an open call on Saturday, May 20th at COCA (Center of Contemporary Art) in University City from 10am to 1pm.

Casting Director Joni Tackette is looking for all types of adult men and women, and teens age 16 to 60s. Background roles available range from residents of a Midwestern city, bank employees, shoppers, drivers, country club types to teenage students at a private school. No experience is necessary.

Please bring a recent color snapshot, and a pen to fill out an extras casting information form. All background roles are compensated.

COCA is at 524 Trinity Avenue, St. Louis, Mo. 63130, near the “loop” in University City. Parking is at COCA or meter parking in the neighborhood. Free Municipal parking is also located in the “loop”- two blocks from COCA.

Seeking Male and Female Actors - REVISED

The St. Louis Science Center is seeking actors

NEEDED

Male Actor to portray Babe Ruth: needs to be very energetic and have excellent improv and audience interaction skills.

Female Actor to portray a Waitress: works with props and interacts with an audience.

10 month – Starts in summer (part-time weekends)

Example: Fri – 2-10pm, Sat 9-5:30pm and Sun 11-5:30pm

Paid Position: $8.50 per hour

Auditions for First Run Theatre

Auditions for First Run Theatre Company's summer production
{originally titled "Picture Perfect" but re-titled by the author (DJ
Sanders) to "Home Base"} will take place in the Thomas Hunter
Theater at DeSmet Jesuit High School,233 N. New Ballas Road, Creve
Coeur.

Auditions will be on June 10, starting at 1:00 PM, and will consist
of cold readings from the script. Callbacks will be scheduled if
necessary. Production dates are August 18, 19, 25 & 26 at 8:00 PM
and August 27 at 2:00 PM.

Cast: (All roles are Caucasian, except as noted)
Female - in her mid-fifties,
African-American Female - thirties or older,
Male- early thirties,
Female- late-twenties,
Male child (age 8).

First Run Theatre Company provides local playwrights a place to have
their unpublished works mounted as a full production for the first

African American actors needed

Recasting for two major role in the upcoming stageplay "A Closet of
Skeletons". Production is scheduled for July 21 and 22 at COCA in
University City. This play is not a production of COCA but a private
producer. We are looking for African American males and females ages
