auditions, line readings, stage readings, blocking and rehearsals
every Wed and Saturday we meet at the Blackberry Cafe on Clayton Rd
for 10 minutes and leave to Oak Knoll Park just down the street at
Clayton and Big Bend to do the meeting --

The Event - Capitol Days Democratic Celebration Picnic and BBQ

where -- Klondike Park in St. Charles by a shaded pavilion or tent on
the day of the event for a couple hours sponsored by the St.Charles
Democratic Alliance, Missouri Democratic Party, several private
fundraisers and perhaps even MoveOn.org.

sketches later in the evening
we need actors, sketch comedy players for live sketch comedy, live
sketch political satire (Anti-Bush) to send a political message

the sketch comedy is minimal costume (part street clothes instead
of costumes)

SNL - Daily Show - Colbert Report - Conan O'brien sketch style

short films are in the pre-production for some of these sketches and
other scripts.

it not only will be seen and heard well by Democrats but is at the
edge of the grounds so crowds of passersby who aren't part of the
rally will see and hear well --you get to annoy right-wingers, Bush
lovers and reach minds to change political leanings. these sketches
might be reported in local newspapers

includes a catered picnic, BBQ and banquet. you get all the free
delicious food and drink you want.

we're doing a Pink Panther sketch with a person in a Pink Panther cat
suit (not a thick furry Disney suit) and Pink Panther mask (Mardi
Gras half mask with cat nose) playing pranks on a Republican. he
puts up local Republican candidate signs and the Pink Panther keeps
taking down the Republican signs, puts up local Democratic candidate
signs, in their place. the Republican guy keeps returning freaked and
pissed, takes down the Democratic signs. -- pranks and gags with Pink
Panther music and cartoon sound effects --this Pink Panther role is
for a female --it's still available. plenty of lead roles still
available -- i'll E-mail names of specific characters, parts
already filled (only a couple filled so far) and other details.

Actors needed - All Ages

Outside the Lines Productions is seeking actors for a film to be shot
June 9, 10 and 11 as a part of the 48 Hour Film Competition. { Please

The short film will be shot in New Town St. Charles, MO the weekend
of June 9th. All films in this competition will be shown at the
Tivoli Theatre the following week.

In order to participate, you must be available from 7pm Friday, June
9 through Sunday morning, June 11, 2006.

Avalon Announces Male Auditions for MOLLY SWEENEY

Avalon Theatre Company announces auditions for Equity and non-Equity men for its
production of MOLLY SWEENEY by Brian Friel. Roles available are Mr. Rice and
Frank Sweeney to play age 30+. Irish dialect required. The role of Molly
Sweeney has been cast. Auditions will be held on Monday, June 12 at Union
United Methodist Church, 3543 Watson Road, St. Louis, 63139. Equity men will
be seen from 6:00 ? 7:30 pm; Non-Equity men will be seen from 8:30 ? 10:00
pm. Auditions are by appointment only and will consist of cold readings from
the script. Please bring photo and resume. Performers of all ethnic and
racial backgrounds are encouraged to attend.

Auditions for Theatre Guild of Webster Groves

The Theatre Guild of Webster Groves is holding auditions for BYE BYE BIRDIE on Tuesday, June 13 at 7:00 pm. 517 Theatre Lane, Webster Groves, MO 63119


This will be a Youth Theatre production for people ages 12-18. Rehearsals will not begin until
July 5 and will be held on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings until tech week, which begins Sunday, July 23. Show dates are July 27-30. There is a $50 production fee. This fee includes two tickets to the show. If you are interested in auditioning, please prepare a song and dress comfortably for a possible dance audition.
