*This is non-paying work unfortunately, but we do promise credit, free meals and a copy of the film.

We are in need of...

Women, ages 16-65
Men, ages 17-35

Here are the character descriptions again as to what we are looking for...Please review them and see if you might fit them.

1. Raven-Haired Woman
Description
Although she ironically doesn't have a name in the film, the story is basically her's, and she is the main character. The raven-haired woman is slender, has dark (obviously), long hair, and idealy, has large, dark eyes, that really express her sorrow.
She is a recent widow...as her husband died in a car crash. So now having to learn how to live without him, she is very frail and alone. She is a quiet natured person, but she is also very angry. She is not someone who likes to show her emotions in public...but her eyes display it all. However, she breaks down easily in private. She is eccentric and creative, and basically clings to Damon...even in death.

2. Damon

Description
Damon is the husband who died. Physically, he should be fairly similar in appearance as his wife. He should be thin, and have dark eyes and hair. Much like his wife, he wears black all the time.
In character, he contrasts his wife very greatly. He is an artist, so he is very creative and eccentric. Unlike his wife, he is confident and free-spirited. He is a bit of a joker and is very playful.

3. The Raven-haired Girl
Description
The story flashes back to when the couple met in high school. So again, the Raven-haired girl is very similar to the older version of herself, only younger. With the same dark features, she is a bit more akward and gawky (As teenagers usually are).
She is the social outcast of her school, so she is very insecure. As a result of this, she is very lonely. She is a creative and musical person...so because she is alone so much, she takes comfort in playing her acoustic guitar and sings by herself by her locker during lunch time. She is also a bit of a book worm.

4. Damon (Teenager)
As a teenager, he has the same character traits he has as an adult...only he is a little bit more quiet. As he wears all black, he stands out in his Baptist private school suroundings. Just as the raven-haired girl, he is a bit of an outcast himself. However, the girls seem to find him mysterious and suave, so they flirt with him, and he has no interest in them.

5. Mother
Description
In her 60's, the mother of the Raven-haired woman now desparately tries to pull her daughter out of her demise. At one point, she has to fully take over and take care of her. Now that Damon is gone, her daughter, many times, clings to her. The mother is a very strong female-figure, and has much patience. She is the care-taker, and is a very gentle and devoted person.

6. Extras for funeral and highschool

We are planning to shoot the film on the following dates...
Sat-Sun. Sept 2-3
Sat-Sun. Sept 16-17
Sat-Sun, Sept  30-Oct 1
Sat-Sun, Oct 14-15
*Optional shooting day* Sat-Sun, Oct 28-29

Movie needs actors, technical and designers

Hello St. Louis movie makers. It is me Mike Winingham again. I sent
out a notice a few months back about a project I was working on. A 45
minute crime drama to be shot this year. It stated that more
information would come in the future. Well the future is now. I am
now in the midst of fundraising and am currently looking to secure
Key and numerous other crew positions. I am looking for everything.
D.P.s, grips, gaffers, Make-Up artists, costume designers and makers,
carpenters, art directors, prop setters, electricians, camera
assistants, P.A.s, the whole lot. Now the film will not be made for
some time still, think winter/early spring. But I want to build my
crew and start adding bio's to my production packets and developing
the project with my people. So, if you are at all interested, I need
current work resumes/experience. If you have demo's/examples of your
work that would be greatly appreciated too. I would love to meet with
anyone one on one who would like to discuss the project in detail.
You can feel free to write me and e-mail, letter or call. I will be
establishing my crew over the next few weeks but plan on having my
key members secured by mid June. ACTORS: Auditions will be held in
early to mid July so expect another email in the near future. Anyone
with interest or a question, feel free to contact me. Thank you all
for your time and I look forward to working with some of you in the
future.
