Two Roles Available

Ragged Blade has two roles available for Grave Undertakings, our evening of
4 halloween one-acts...

the role of "Shannon Dougherty's Career" in "Charming" and the role of "Aunt
Marylin" who's a very ugly dead person in "Kiss of Death." Actually both
roles are kind of ugly dead people.

We're willing to cast 'em either gender, one person could play both roles,
or we can split it between two. Please be over 16, other than that age and
ethnicity isn't a factor; you can be much older than 16, or not.

Show dates are Oct 27-29 and Nov 3-5; these roles don't have a heavy line
load but they're a lotta fun to play.

Please call Ragged Blade at 314 276 8693 or drop a line with info about you
back here to
_ChawLyder@aol.com_ (mailto:ChawLyder@aol.com) and I'll give
you a call. Rehearsals are already underway. Go to _www.raggedblade.com/season_
(

thanks!

Actors needed for National Film Challenge

Captain KickAss Productions is looking for actors/actresses for a short film being produced for the National Film Challenge, October 20-23, 2006.

For those unfamiliar with the NFC, it is a filmmaking competition in which teams have one weekend to write, shoot, and edit a short film.  At this point in time, we have no idea what the film will be about, nor for that matter, what kinds of roles that we will have available.  As such, we will not be holding open auditions, but rather informal interviews with respondents in hopes of becoming more familiar with your personality and acting strengths.  Ultimately, we will try to get a feel for who you are, and how we may be able to use you in our production.

Because there are no roles at this time, there are no role requirements.  All ages/races/genders/sizes/experience levels are encouraged to apply.

Cinematography is tentatively scheduled for October 21st.  Please do not apply for this film if you are not available that day.

If you are at all interested in this kind of off the wall acting experience, please send a resume and headshot to casting@ckaproduction.com.  You can also call Seth Treptow at (618) 541-2242.

Please note, we can promise you nothing.  However, if we meet you, and we like you, we will do whatever we can to work you into either this or future projects.
