Auditions for BYE BYE BIRDIE

Shrewsbury Community Theater is holding auditions for “Bye Bye Birdie” on Friday, January 19 from 5-7 p.m., Saturday, January 20 from 12-4 p.m., and Saturday, January 21 from 1-3 p.m. at the Shrewsbury City Center.  Auditions are open to people ages 7 and up (with a primary focus on youth participants).  Please prepare at least 16 bars of a song and bring a current photo.  An accompanist will be present.  Accompaniment CD’s may also be used provided there are no lead vocals.  Productions dates will be March 15-18.  Registration fees are $45 for Shrewsbury residents and $55 for non-residents.  This fee is only paid if cast in the show.  Please call the Shrewsbury Parks & Recreation Department at (314) 647-1003 to schedule an audition or for more information.

Ma'atology Productions is seeking African American female and male
actors for its upcoming play, Monologues and Penisillin, Saturday.

HECTV through Hughes advertising is holding auditions for 2 TV spots
to promote the station.

There are recurring roles for 1 man and 1 woman, under or approx. 40,
and a small additional part for one
man, age not specified. Filming will be the 1st week in February.

Salary is $100

Auditions will be TUESDAY, JANUARY 23, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Audition for "Stop Kiss"

HYDEWARE THEATRE SEEKS A DIVERSE
CAST FOR PRODUCTION OF
“STOP KISS”
Auditions will be held Saturday, January 27, at 12:00pm, at The Tin
Ceiling, 3159 Cherokee Street, STL 63118 (the corner of Compton and

SECOND AUDITION for "A View from the Bridge"

Due to the weather scare Sunday, we had a much smaller crowd than expected for our auditions.

There are a few roles that we will be auditioning for this coming Sunday, January 21st from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Auditions will be held at St. John Hall on 5th Street in St. Charles. (5th Street North is the first exit over the I-70 Blanchette Bridge heading into
St. Charles from St. Louis County.) The hall is approximately 1 mile down on the left between Tompkins St. & Jackson St.

Roles available are as follows:

Rodolpho - 20's (lead)
Marco - 20's - 30's (lead)
Tony - 20's to 50's (minor character)
1st Immigration Officer - 20's - 50's (minor character)

Male Actors Needed for Show-Me St. Louis Taping

The Bissell Mansion (Hands-down the best DINNER THEATRE in St. Louis)
will be featured on KSDK’S (STL NBC Affiliates) Local TV Show, Show-
Me St. Louis.

Although this will be a NON-PAYING gig, if you’re free at 9AM on
Thursday, January 25th, 2007 for about an hour, you may be seen on
the show (DEMO REEL STUFF!) Plus you’ll be hanging with some of the
best talent in St. Louis, working with (what I consider) the best DMT
Director/Writer in town, Mike “Missouri” Smith. You may even get
a chance to show off your talent (cold-readings) as every person in
the audience gets a part IN the show! SWEET! Not to mention, this is
a great way to see what a “dinner theatre” is all about in the
oldest house in the Lou.

So, while you’re networking, come have a blast and get on TV.

Actors for Paid TV Commericals

PAYING WORK: EXPERIENCED ACTORS WANTED FOR TV COMMERCIALS

A St. Louis company is seeking adult male and female actors for a
series of 30-second TV spots.

You must be non-union, able to memorize a short script, and have
either on-camera or theatre experience. All ethnic groups are
encouraged to submit. Prefer those with "real person" look -- not
"model" or "actor" look.

Specific needs:

One chubby or slightly overweight person, 20s-70ish
Two middle-aged individuals
young woman in 20s
man or woman middle-aged to 70ish.

Auditions tentatively set for January 18th or 19th during the day.

Tentative shoot date: Jan. 29, 30, or 31. The shoot should take no
more than 2-3 hours.

All roles are well-compensated.
