Auditions for 12 to 14 year old boy

Submissions for New Scripts

ST. LOUIS WRITERS GROUP IS ACCEPTING NEW SCRIPTS
For our 2007 reading series. We're accepting submissions of full-
length and one-act plays, musicals, and screenplays. Scriptwriters
are welcome to attend our regular monthly readings of new plays and
script workshop. The St. Louis Writers' Group is dedicated to the
development of area playwrights, screenwriters and writers of musical
theater through reading, discussions and workshops.

The St. Louis Writers' Group is proud to presents "The List" by Dick
Butler winner of SLAM Theatre.

BLURB: The essence of this black comedy is about a couple that
had been married for forty years. The play is based on a "contract"
Jack's wife Edna agreed too. They would make love in every state in
the Union. Edna dies after thirty-seven States have been completed.
He argues with Edna's ghost and tell her how disappointed he is in
her. Then he spends the next two years trying to find a woman to
drive to Nebraska. Jack, under any circumstance, wants to complete
the remaining thirteen States. Jack is the
quintessential cad.

TIME: Monday, April 2 at 6:30pm

YOU STILL HAVE TIME TO GET THOSE ONE-ACT PLAYS INTO SPECTRUM!!!

SPECTRUM, A NEW ONE-ACT PLAY COMPETITION
First Run Theatre in association with St. Louis Writers' Group is
proud to announce we are accepting submission for the Spectrum
competition. Spectrum is a festival of short plays up to 6 a night.
Plays should be from 10 minutes to 30 minutes long, new unpublished
plays by St. Louis regional playwrights. Must have a simple set and
small to moderate number of characters. Plays will be fully staged
with minimal sets, costumes and props.

Submission period is from December 1st to March 31st. Selection
announcement to be made by mid April. The Spectrum Festival of plays
will be performed on June 15, 16,17 and 23, 24, 25 at Thomas Hunter
Theatre, DeSmet High School, 233 N. New Ballas Road, Creve Couer 63141.

Script may be submitted in one of two ways.
Hardcopy:
3 copies without playwrights name on cover or any
pages.
1 cover sheet with name and contact information.

Non-Equity actors needed for The 365 National Festival

Last season, we thrilled you, chilled you, made you cry, and left you
breathless. Now The Tin Ceiling Theater Company, ever the innovators
of the St. Louis theatre community, kick off a brand new season with
a national endeavor!

The Tin Ceiling Theater Company and The 365 National Festival will
present Week 25 of Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Suzan-Lori
Parks' "365 Days/365 Plays" on May 4-6, 2007. This show will be
directed by Robert Strasser and Maria Straub.

365 Days/365 Plays started in November 2002 when Suzan-Lori Parks
committed to writing a play a day for the next 365 days. From Nov 13,
2006 - Nov 12, 2007, the 365 Days/365 Plays National Festival will
preform these brief, brilliant plays simultaneously across the
country, creating the largest collaboration in the history of
American theater.

The Tin Ceiling Theater Company is currently looking for NON-EQUITY
actors and actresses of all kinds to fill 10 - 15 miscellaneous
roles. All roles are unpaid.

Actors will be required to perform a breif monologue for their
auditions. A headshot and resume is preferred, but not required.

Auditions will be held on TUESDAY, APRIL 3rd, 2007 at 7pm at The Tin
Ceiling Theater (3159 Cherokee Street @ the corner of Cherokee and
Compton).

Performances will be May 4th and 5th at 8pm, and May 6th at 7pm.
