One of my actors for the reading had to drop out, and I'm almost forced to cancel the reading of my play. Can anyone help me by doing a reading on wednesday, April 4, at 7:oo pm? There is also a rehearsal on monday, 6:30 pm. I really need someone, and quick.

General Auditions for Leavenworth Players Group

Leavenworth Players Group, a professional theatre company based in
Saint Louis, will be conducting auditions for its upcoming summer
season on Sunday, April 15th at Bevo Mill Restaurant, 4749 Gravois,

Last season, we thrilled you, chilled you, made you cry, and left you
breathless. Now The Tin Ceiling Theater Company, ever the innovators
of the St. Louis theatre community, kick off a brand new season with
a national endeavor!

The Tin Ceiling Theater Company and The 365 National Festival will
present Week 25 of Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Suzan-Lori
Parks' "365 Days/365 Plays" on May 4-6, 2007. This show will be
directed by Robert Strasser and Maria Straub.

365 Days/365 Plays started in November 2002 when Suzan-Lori Parks
committed to writing a play a day for the next 365 days. From Nov 13,
2006 - Nov 12, 2007, the 365 Days/365 Plays National Festival will
preform these brief, brilliant plays simultaneously across the
country, creating the largest collaboration in the history of
American theater.

The Tin Ceiling Theater Company is currently looking for NON-EQUITY
actors and actresses of all kinds to fill 10 - 15 miscellaneous
roles. All roles are unpaid.

Actors will be required to perform a brief monologue for their
auditions. A headshot and resume is preferred, but not required.

Auditions will be held on TUESDAY, APRIL 3rd, 2007 at 7pm at The Tin
Ceiling Theater (3159 Cherokee Street @ the corner of Cherokee and
Compton). Performances will be May 4th and 5th at 8pm, and May 6th at
7pm.

Clayton Community Theatre announces auditions for Agatha Christie's
The Hollow.

CLAYTON, MO – (March 29, 2007) – Clayton Community
Theatre has announced audition times and dates for its production of
Agatha Christie's The Hollow, directed by Nieccole Hilliard.
Open auditions will be Thursday, April 12th, at 7:00
p.m. and Saturday, April 14th, at 10:00 a.m., in the Concordia
Seminary Theater, 6501 Clayton Road. Auditioners may attend either
session. Callbacks will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 14th, if
needed. Roles are available for twelve men and women in all adult
age ranges. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
The Hollow will be performed at the Concordia Seminary Theater July
13-29, with Friday and Saturday evening and Sunday matinee
performances. Rehearsals will begin in May; Tech Week will be July
8-12.
Clayton Community Theatre welcomes all interested
parties to audition; no appointment is necessary. All parts will be

Feature film needs interns

Candle Room, a feature film, will be shot in St Louis beginning mid
April for three weeks. We are looking for interns, possibly starting
before the shoot.

Tech person needed for children's productions

I'm looking for one person who can do both lighting and sound design for 2 upcoming children's productions.  This is fairly simple, as there are a limited number of instruments.  Sound design consists of hooking up body mics and floor mics - there are very few internal sound cues.  This person would also be needed to run the board during the productions.  It's a good opportunity for a college student or someone trying to build their resume.  Performances are May 3, 6, 17 & 20.  There is pay.  If you're interested, please contact me asap via email at dnorthcott@jccstl.org.  Thanks

p.s. if you're asking yourself, "why not hire 2 designers/board ops?" it's because it's a simple enough project that one person can handle both.  Also, my budget is limited so if I only hire one person, they'll earn more on the project.

COCA and Fox Associates Foundation present the school edition of Les Miserables July 27-28. Children in grades 6-12 are invited to audition.

 

The performance is directed by Karen Elliott with musical direction by Phil Woodmore.

 

Open auditions will be held Friday, April 13 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 14 from 1:00-5:00 p.m.

 

Applicants should prepare 16 bars of a song (must provide sheet music in the appropriate key or sing a cappella) plus a 1 to 2 minute contemporary monologue.

 

COCA casting decisions are made without regard to race or gender. Rehearsals will be held during the late afternoon and evenings, June 4-July 26. Individual call times will be scheduled as needed. If cast, students will be asked to complete a registration form and pay a $200 participation fee.

Please be prepared to learn a contemporary/jazz combination and a hip-hop combination. NOTE: If your strength lies in only one of these areas, please don't hesitate to audition. All of this will be taken into consideration during the judging process.

Bring a copy of your performance résumé and a current photo of yourself (headshot or full-length) that is no smaller than a 5x7. You must be 18 and over (by April 14) to audition.

The company is new and fresh, and is a way for those dancers in the Greater St. Louis area to take master classes, compete, perform all over the city and beyond and have the opportunity to teach in more than one discipline. The disciplines that we specialize in are: hip hop, contemporary jazz, modern, pop and street jazz. We are searching for dancers who are well-rounded, professional, and who are looking to grow as performers.
