Actor Auditions for Film

Actor auditions will be held at 8pm on Wednesay, June 6th at the Town Hall in New Town St. Charles for a film to be shot in New Town St. Charles on Saturday, June 9 and Sunday, June 10.  Bring resume, headshot and prepare two short monologues.  For questions, please call Liesel at 636 724-0111.

Auditions for BEANSTALK! THE MUSICAL

Rainbow for Kids presents a fundraiser musical, BEANSTALK! THE
MUSICAL! This original musical was a sold-out hit when first
performed in St. Louis in 1996. Written by Kevin M. Mitchell, this
production is directed by Barb Mulligan.

The production dates are:
July 20, 21, 22
July 27, 28, 29

Auditions: June 5, 2007
6:00 to 7:30 - 9+ year olds through teens
7:30 to ? - adults

Bring music, accompanist provided. Cold readings. Wear comfortable

Two African-American Actors needed

2 Versatile and experienced African -American male actors wanted for
an University of Missouri, Saint Louis production debuting in Bermuda
in July 2007.
1. Must be experienced as an Actor
2. Must own or can obtain U.S Passport and be eligible to travel
3. Rehearsals commence in late June, with late July production dates
in Bermuda.
4. Arrangements are being made for Paid Stipends in Bermuda.
5. Air travel and accommodation are fully covered.

Actor needed for local film short

Actor needed for film shoot on June 3rd. This will be a one day
shoot on 16mm for the Coming Up Shorts Contest for KDHX. We are
looking for a tall, lanky actor who is, or can do, a British accent.

Equity and Non-Equity auditions - REMINDER

Auditions for equity actors on Monday June 11th from 9 a.m.- noon and 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Non-equity actors may audition on Tuesday June 12th from 9 a.m.- noon and 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. The show is I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change

It's being produced at The Playhouse at Westport, located at 635 Westport Plaza. That's also where auditions are.

Appointments are being accepted, but are not necessary.

Callbacks will take place on Thursday the 14th.

We will open on 7/11 and run through the end of August, possibly longer depending upon the response.

Looking for 2 female leads and 2 male leads, and understudies. Ages late 20's-late 40's.

Please prepare a 32 bar uptempo song, and a 2 minute contemporary Amnerican comedy monologue.

Open call for indie film

Open call to all actors and actresses for an independent feature film by Brent Madison. We have 30 speaking roles for adults. Also needed are: two boys and two girls between the ages of 4 and 9 years of age. Another two sets between the ages of 9-11 for an age progression. Filming starts June 7, tentatively, and hopes to wrap by June 28, 2007. 

Auditions will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 625 Church Dr., Bethalto, Illinois 62010 from 11 A.M. till we see the last audition on Saturday, June 2. The church is right at the corner of Highway 140 and Moreland Rd. The auditions will be held in the main conference room.

Black Actors needed for Education DVD

Jumby Bay Studios is searching for talented black males, ages 35-50, to play the role of a
parent in an updated version of an award-winning driver's education DVD. This DVD program
is designed to teach teens how to become smart, safe, and skillful drivers.

The parental role involves acting while riding with a teenager in a variety of locations and
situations. The program includes realistic scenarios and interactions between parents and
teens. The main objective is to help teach teens how to drive, while instructing parents on
better ways to teach their kids safe and effective driving skills.

Pay for this role is dictated by skill and experience and may be as much as $35/hour.

Additional time to audition for OLIVER

Due to the overwhelming number of requests for an alternate audition time. We have decide to hold one more night of auditions on June 1st from 6pm-8pm at 6704 Fyler Avenue located at Timothy Lutheran Church. Please note that most of the major roles in the show have been cast. However, some smaller roles still are available as well as the role of Oliver. Rehearsals still will be starting on June 4 th and we meet about 3 times a week. Clayton Community Theatre Special Auditions

Two actors have had to leave the cast of Agatha Christie's "The Hollow"
which is in rehearsal for performances starting July 13 (for 3 weekends, Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday matinees). Auditions will be held Thursday evening, May 31, at 6:45 pm in the Concordia Seminary Theater,
6501 Clayton Road for the following roles:

Inspector Colquhoun: Male or Female, 30-70+, the investigating officer.

Detective Sergeant Penny: Male or Female, 25-50, a police officer in the case.

Auditions for local film

Auditions are being held for male and female roles in a 48 Hour Film Competition.  Outside the Lines Productions won the Best Cinematography award in last year's competition.
