Casting for local indie film

Metal/Reggae Kung Fu parody(color/b&w) film(s) will be shot this fall in St. Louis. It will not pay but will be a fun project that will have short shoots at different times and locations starting in Sept. We can work with anyone's schedule. You don't need to know Martial Arts but many scenes will be action packed so you must be able to perform. All kinds of people and charactors will be incorperated into an ongoing series. Full credits will be given to individual charactors and ideas that work for this series.

Equity and Non-Equity auditions

Muddy Waters Theatre Company announces equity and non-equity
auditions for their 2007-08 season of Tennessee Williams. Auditions
will be Sunday, July 29 from 1 to 4 pm and Monday, July 30 from 7 to
10 pm at the St. Johns United Methodist Church in the Central West
End. Auditions are by appointment only and will consist of one
monologue no longer than 2 minutes. Please bring 2 headshots and

Non-Equity Auditions for CURSE OF AN ACHING HEART

The Theatre Guild of Webster Groves (TGWG) will hold non-equity, cold-
reading auditions for Herbert E. Swayne's CURSE OF AN ACHING HEART on
Tuesday, July 10th at 7:00 PM. The auditions will be held at our
building at 517 Theatre Lane Webster Groves, MO 63119.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Roles are available for 4 adult males, 7 adult females.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
The audition format is cold reading. (We hand you a script, and have
you read a passage.)

REHEARSAL AND PRODUCTION DATES:
Rehearsal dates TBA; most likely will be on Sundays, Tuesdays, and
Thursdays. Public performance dates are Sept. 7-9 and 13-16 (with
possible private performances Sept. 20-23). Weeknight shows are at
8PM, and Sunday shows are at
2PM.

Synopsis 

It is a riveting story centered around Kay, the leading lady who falls in love with the idea of having a lavish wedding never realizing that marriage is much more than a fairytale. Kay almost sees her dream come true until reality sets in when her fiance' ups and leaves without so much as a goodbye. 

 

ROLES:
Kay (late 20s, early 30's): looking for experienced leading lady. African-American with strong presence, comedic timing, beautiful or exotic features). 

Guy (late 20s, early 30's): looking for handsome African American male, dominant presence, strong acting ability, comedic timing 

Heather (late 20's early 30's): looking for Caucasian female, with comedic timing, very beautiful, strong acting ability.

Non-Union television commercial casting

Non-Equity auditions at FIRST RUN THEATRE - Revised

First Run Theatre will hold non-equity auditions for It's January
production of "Room at the Inn" by Steve Pokin and directed by Philip
Bozich. Play takes place in a homeless shelter during a bad winter
storm.

Roles for 9 men, 2 women, and one boy around 7. Roles include older
woman, young man age 17 – 20's, and large and tall man. Excellent
opportunity for character actors. Actors will play staff and residents.

Saturday August 25 from 9 am – 12pm, 1pm – 4pm
Monday August 27 from 7 pm – 10pm
