Continuing The Tin Ceiling's critically acclaimed 2007 season of
original works comes auditions for its next show: Robert Strasser's
"A Length of Rope."

Synopsis:
A priceless and seemingly forgotten piece of art goes missing.
Private investigator Stan, desperate for cash, accepts the job of
locating it. His investigation takes him to an art warehouse on the
North side of St. Louis, where he questions the management and staff
– Lesley and Carl – who conveniently know nothing about it. In fact,
the warehouse houses no art whatsoever. In truth Leslie, who's about
to marry her boy friend, threw the painting in the Mississippi. What
ensues is a game of cat-and-mouse where everyone is both the cat and
the mouse.

Directed by Andrew Byrd
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.

corner of Compton and Cherokee) in South St. Louis city. Callbacks

Carl: Male, early 50's. A bit of a ladies man and nonconformist.
He's the only other employee at the art warehouse. He is partially

worth a lot of money. He desperately needs the money the job will

Auditions for entertainers & singers

AUDITIONS FOR SINGERS, ACTORS, PERFORMERS, MUSICIANS

Local expanding entertainment company is seeking performers to send
out on paying gigs.

We need entertainers. Experience not as necessary as creativity and
comfort in front of a crowd. Singers don't have to be wonderful but
should be able to carry a tune well.

If you already have an act you will NOT have to become exclusive to us.

Audition time is below. It is VERY IMPORTANT that if you plan to
attend you contact us. If we do not have enough people reply to this
ad we will cancel the room and do auditions on an individual basis.

Even if you do not currently have an act but are interested in
possible future performances, please plan to attend. We will be going
over information to familiarize you with us and our intentions with
growing this company. As we grow you will be hearing about us around
town. As finances accumulate we intend to put an aggressive
advertisement plan into place. Our hope is to become St. Louis' MOST
REPUTABLE family appropriate entertainment company. Please come out
to hear more. We would love to get to know you.

Please note; This location is very simple to find. It is just two
blocks off of Hwy. 270 and approx. 5 miles off of Hwy. 55 on Hwy.
111. Less than 20 minutes from St. Louis.

Place- Days Inn & Suites (conference room just inside the main door)
5105 Hwy.111, Pontoon Beach, Il. 62040 (subsidy of

provided.
