PROJECTS IN THE WORKS:

The Interrogation (Will shoot Oct. 6)
This is a psychological drama - kind of "Sixth Sense"-esque.

The National Film Challenge (Will shoot Oct. 20)
We have no idea what this film will be, as we will not be writing
this film until the night before we shoot it. I know it sounds
crazy, but that's part of the rules of the competition. At this time
we are looking for people who are excited by the challenge who are
willing to be flexible and are available to work with us all day on
the 20th.

The Misadventures of Captain KickAss (Shooting begins early November)
We are currently developing a series of episodic comedic short films
featuring our namesake superhero - Captain KickAss. We will be
shooting 2-3 films a month for this series or webisodes, and will
need lots of
actors to fill various roles throughout the project. We are
currently planning on producing at least 18 films in all

Auditions for Shakespeare Festival

Shakespeare Festival of St. Louis is seeking five (5) full-time positions for its Touring Ensemble. These are 21-week, salaried contracts. Looking to cast versatile Equity and non-Equity actors (one Equity Stage Manager already contracted) for touring full time during the day. Touring is mostly Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend days, weekday evenings, and possible overnights at out-state venues.

The Shakespeare Festival seeks a diverse company to perform two 45-minute adapted productions of Shakespeare: Me and Richard 3 (adapted from Richard III) and A Midsummer Night's Dream…In the Wink of an Eye! This Special Agreement based on Equity's Theatre for Young Audiences contract involves additional artist activities which include post-performance discussions and workshops; substantial teaching artist experience is very helpful for applicants.

Please prepare two contrasting, one-minute Shakespeare monologues; one one-minute, contemporary monologue (preferably from a play geared to young audiences); and 16 bars to be sung a capella. A short interview will follow the audition. Call-backs will be scheduled as needed.

Audition Reminder

The auditions are ON! As a courtesy please advise if you plan to attend.

(For those of you who can not attend we are trying to plan an informative meeting, not an audition, one weeknight evening of Oct.1-4. Please email 1st and 2nd choices and your location).

Local expanding entertainment company is seeking performers to send out on paying gigs.

We need entertainers of various talents. Experience not as necessary as creativity and comfort in front of a crowd. Singers don't have to be wonderful but should be able to carry a tune well.

If you already have an act you will NOT have to become exclusive to us.

Even if you do not currently have an act but are interested in possible future performances, please plan to attend. We will be going over information to familiarize you with us and our intentions with growing this company.

As we grow you will be hearing about us around town. As finances accumulate we intend to put an aggressive advertisement plan into place. Our hope is to become St. Louis' MOST REPUTABLE, family appropriate, entertainment company. Please come out to hear more. We would love to get to know you.

Audition time and location is below.

Please note; This location is very simple to find. It is just two blocks off of Hwy. 270 and approx. 5 miles off of Hwy. 55 on Hwy. 111. Less than 20 minutes from St. Louis.
