Extras needed 10/8/07 for Independent Film SAVING GRACE -

Extras needed for the independent film "Saving Grace" directed by
Connie Stevens.
Shooting in St. Louis on Tuesday, October 9th. Overnight work.

Looking for African American actors and Caucasian actors to portray
1951 Brooklyn residents. (Adults age 17 to 65 years)

African American men are especially needed.

All extras will be transformed to a 1951 look.
Payment is $65.00 for 9.5 hours of work time, and overtime after that.

Types needed:
One "heavy set" African American Woman will be featured.

African American & Caucasian men and women age 17 to 65 years.

Must be available from approximately 4:30pm or 5pm until possibly 6
am.

Must be available the entire time.

SYNOPSIS: Neil Simon's Rumors chronicles the 10th wedding anniversary
of a high-ranking New York City official and his wife. However, the
happy occasion soon sours -- the deputy mayor shoots himself in the
head, (no need to worry, it's just a flesh wound), his wife is
missing and his lawyer, a guest at the party, decides it's time for a
cover-up. More guests arrive and soon nobody can remember who has
said what about whom. The cover-up unravels in a storm of slamming
doors and hilarity.

These are paid positions.

Auditions will be held on Saturday, October 27 from 4:30 to 6:30,
with callbacks on Sunday, October 28 from 4:30 to 6:30.

Actors and Readers needed

ANNOUNCEMENT TO INTERESTED ACTORS/READERS

We are reconstituting the Missouri Association of Playwrights (MAP),
the oldest association of playwrights in Missouri and greater St.
Louis area. Some of you may have known Jo Lovins formerly the
presider at MAP who passed away recently. We are looking for actors/
readers to read new scripts. These readings will not at this time be
staged readings but more like chamber theatre, seated and holding
scripts. The time commitment will be on a Saturday afternoons from
2-4. You will always be asked about your availability at least two
weeks before the reading.

The Black Rep Auditions for 2007/2008 Mainstage Season

Ushers needed

New Line Theatre needs ushers for the current production of SEX DRUGS ROLL N ROLL, A musical revue at the New Ivory Theater at 7622 Michigan in south city.

 

Dates we have open are:

You must be at least 17 years old, arrive at 7pm and remain after the show 10 minutes to tidy up the theater
