Female Actors needed for video

TWO FEMALE ACTORS SOUGHT.

The Video Repertory Company is putting together a short digital video.  I need two female actors:
This is a non-union shoot.

HELEN --- 40+ years old, the deceased wife of James, who is not quite as dead as she seemed.  She has a very strong presence.

TRINKA --- 21-29, present girlfriend of James.  Model pretty, it would be great if she speaks naturally with a foreign accent (Russian, Israeli, Brazilian?).  She is not as dumb as she lets people think she is.

The role of James is cast.

This will be a one day shoot, date is TBD by availability of the actors we cast.  We will provide meals and copies of the project.

Auditions will be October 22 7-10 PM, and will be BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!  Auditions will take about ten minutes and will be cold readings from the script.

Send an email to

Use AUDITIONS in the subject line.  Send a copy of your resume and we will send a copy of the script and an appointment time.

Casting for short film

We are holding a open casting call for a short film this Saturday,
October 13th in the conference room at Emerson Library (1st floor) in
Webster Groves from 11am-2pm.

We are looking for males and females of all ethnic groups and ages 18
to 60.
It will be a first come basis, so please come as early as you can.

We are shooting on 35 mm film and all positions are unpaid but this
is a great opportunity for any St. Louis actor who is looking to add
to their reel. 35mm films don't come around very often and if you
are building a resume this is a great chance to gain true film
experience.

As of now the shoot dates are Nov. 8th, 11th, and 12th.
But some actors will only be needed one or two of those days.
Please bring a headshot and a resume if possible.
Feel free to email me with any questions.

Entertainers and Performers wanted

Hello Everyone. This is Elizabeth from Entertaining Parties .com
We had auditions a few weeks back and they went well. However, alot
of you couldn't make it (I wonder how many of you were scared to come
over into Illinois?:-). If you are in the dark on this see the bottom
of this posting for original ad.
So we are scheduling a meeting at the Sunset Hills Borders (Watson
Rd. just a few blocks off of hwy 40 and 44)for this Saturday evening
at 7:00 (Oct. 13). Please let us know if you can attend. Borders cafe
needs a head count for seating.
This is NOT an audition. Rather it's an introduction of what is
needed, what you can expect of this company, what we expect of
performers, future plans for our site, etc. We will cover everything
you would need to know and answer any questions you may have.
This is very informal and shouldn't take over an hour. If you want,
you can bring anything you may need to tell us what you do, but there
will also be paperwork for you to fill out which includes an area for
that.
It is difficult to keep track of all of your inquiries so please keep
in touch if you don't hear from us.
Here is the address and phone of the Borders. Hope to hear from you
and see you there.

ORIGINAL POST(again, Borders is strictly an informative meeting, not
an audition);

Local expanding entertainment company is seeking performers to send
out on paying gigs.

We need entertainers. Experience not as necessary as creativity and
comfort in front of a crowd. Singers don't have to be wonderful but
should be able to carry a tune well.

If you already have an act you will NOT have to become exclusive to us.

Even if you do not currently have an act but are interested in
possible future performances, please plan to attend. We will be going
over information to familiarize you with us and our intentions with
growing this company. As we grow you will be hearing about us around
town. As finances accumulate we intend to put an aggressive
advertisement plan into place. Our hope is to become St. Louis' MOST
REPUTABLE, family appropriate, entertainment company. Please come out
to hear more. We would love to get to know you.

We will provide a CD player as well as a DVD player if you have a
video of an act you do. Room size is restricted. If you are
performing an act
your act does NOT have to be perfected for us. We just need to get an
idea if it will
be sellable and if you are a proper candidate.
Dress casual. Relax. Have a fun evening with us. Refreshments will be
provided.
No need for headshots & resumes, unless you just want to bring them.

Please visit www.entertainingparties.com or call (314)313-7746 for
more information.
These are paid performances contracted on an 'as needed' basis.

Auditions for short film

My name is KJ Paradise and I am in need of three main actors/actresses. A young female in her early twenties, an older female in her mid 40's early 50's and an older male in his late 40's early 50's.  There is no pay for this film but the opportunity to gain experience, but food is provided and a ride if needed.  No acting experience is required just the eagerness to learn and have fun. My short film pertains to the Vietnam war were a young girl receives love letter from a soldier.  The older man is her father and is against her dating anyone.  The father owns a small diner located in a little town where one waitress is needed. That one waitress is his daughter the young female who is eager to find happiness. The older woman is a local lady who is coping with her son being off to war.  These lives learn and grow during the Vietnam war at home in a local diner.

Auditions are being held on November 1st from 3-7pm. For the location please email me or call me at  kjparadise2@hotmail.com or 1-314-246-2965

OPEN CASTING CALL

Open casting call on SUNDAY OCTOBER 7th from NOON to 5PM
For actors interested in working on the National Film Challenge.

Auditions will be held in
EMERSON LIBRARY - WEBSTER UNIVERSITY
101 Edgar Rd.
St. Louis, MO. 63119
EMERSON LIBRARY CONFERENCE ROOM on the first floor

The National Film Challenge is an annual film competition where teams
have 72 hours to make a short film. From the writing to the final
edit, it all has
to be done in a weekend. The weekend of the challenge is Friday,
October 19th through Monday, October 22nd. The only day of shooting
for the film will be Saturday, October 20th.

Tongue vs. Cheek Productions, the same production team that won this
years 48 hour film challenge, is looking for ACTORS OF ALL AGES to
audition.

The audition will be based on improv exercises (as we won't have a
script until the shoot) and a few short selected scenes meant to
demonstrate range.

This is not a paying job but there is the opportunity for National
Exposure especially with a team that has demonstrated its ability to
succeed in competitions like the NFC.

So if you want to have fun with a group of serious, experienced
filmmakers and make a movie in just one weekend then come out and
audition.

Hope to see you there.
