WHAT ARE WE?

The Christian Actors Company of St. Louis is a para-church Theater
Company that has an existing repertoire of dramas (mostly
contemporary, ranging from 5 to 15 minutes on a variety of topics). We
understand that telling stories is a powerful way to communicate the
Gospel and principals of Christianity. We also understand that it is
difficult to do well, and often done badly.
Many local churches would welcome drama, but do not have the staff or
expertise or talented church body members to execute a drama with
excellence. The company is led by a board of eight members, several
with Theatre Degrees, writing awards, tenure in Worship Arts
departments of local churches and professional acting / directing
experience. The board serves to elevate the quality of church-based
Christian drama by creating a high quality "Drama Team" that can go
anywhere.
