Aligned Theatre Collective, a division of ODTC
This summer we bridge the gap between old and new! Aligned Theatre Collective, a division Over Due Theatre Company, is thrilled to announce the Sondheim Tribute Revue.
INTERESTED PERFORMERS SHOULD SIGN UP FOR A SLOT HERE!
About the Revue & Auditions
We are seeking a large cast of volunteer performers, ages 10 through adult, to perform in solos, duets, trios, and group numbers of Sondheim’s compositions. We are planning to cast and rehearse this show as a cohesive production that will include an ensemble. Performers who are cast will receive an offer of a “track” containing multiple numbers they will perform in.
Interested performers should sign up below for an audition slot and prepare 16-32 bars of a Sondheim or other musical theatre song. The team will select some pieces for the revue based upon performers’ audition selections so we encourage you to audition with a Sondheim song you might like to perform. We are open to non-traditional or gender-blind song selections. A qualified pianist will be provided. There will be no movement combination prior to callbacks.
Dates & Locations
This revue will be auditioned, rehearsed, and performed at Webster Groves Christian Church.
1320 W Lockwood Ave, St. Louis, MO 63122
Auditions: May 20th
Callbacks: May 23rd 6-10 p.m. (limited initial audition slots available from 5:30-6)
