ART/SEE Productions and Theatre 101
Art/See Productions and Theatre 101 are casting non-equity men (paid positions) for the St. Louis premiere of the hit Broadway play, The Shark Is Broken. Based on documented accounts of the endless delays in the filming of JAWS in 1974, the play explores the relationships between the three lead actors as tensions flare, truths are revealed, and lives are changed. Director Julie George-Carlson is seeking three actors to portray Robert Shaw (Quint), Roy Scheider (Chief Brody), and Richard Dreyfuss (Matt Hooper). Rehearsals will begin in mid-August and performances are October 1-5, at the Westport Playhouse in Maryland Heights.
