First Run Theatre

We’ve been quiet for a year now without a venue, but First Run Theatre, the St Louis Writers’ Group parent organization, has exciting news: we now have a new home at the Kranzberg Arts Center, in the heart of Grand Center! And we’ve selected five scripts for presentation at our Reading Festival, for consideration for full production.
But we need YOU to help us make the most of this opportunity!
We need technical staff of all kinds: Stage Managers, Lighting Designers and Board Operators, Front of House, Sound Technicians, Props and Costume Designers, even Box Office.
We will be having the First Run Theatre Relaunch event on Saturday October 27th at 12 noon and at again 2 pm, with an alternative of Wednesday 7th November at 7 pm for those not available on the Saturday.
The event will be at the Buder Library,

Our first event will be our reading festival. We will announce the date of that at the relaunch, after which we will select new plays to put into production.
