Learn from Master Educator.
Ed Reggi has worked as a professional entertainer, director, producer, and playwright for over two decades. Reggi has taught thousands of actors who can be seen on ABC, Disney, MTV, CBS, Netflix, HBO, OWN, and NBC. His skills as a master teacher have been featured on local and national television. And he continues to entertain corporate audiences from coast to coast.
Before ComedySportz, City Improv, Laughtracks, Laughs on the Landing, Compass Improv Festival, and Improv Shop, Ed Reggi started Paper Slip Theater—Saint Louis’ longest-running improv theater company. Paper Slip has assisted hundreds of its students and performers in starting their acting and comedy careers. Ed continues to foster the national improv community through his various residencies, tours, and training workshops both in and outside the Metro East. He has guest lectured and served as faculty with the Center of Creative Arts (COCA), Saint Louis University, Washington University, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and Lindenwood University. Reggi’s clients include global brands like SONY, Southwest Airlines, Mastercard, Purina, Anheuser-Busch, and the Federal Reserve. He continues to entertain. Ed recently invited Colin Mochrie (Whose Line Is It Anyway) to his annual improvisation conference.
Improv is not only for clever comedians! Improv can help both actors and non-actors. Experience how improvisation can enhance your auditions, presentations, and negotiation skills. Nurses, teachers, salespeople, customer service reps, lawyers, and tax professionals are all better after taking a class from Ed Reggi.
Here’s a chance for adults to learn from a pro. Ed’s next opportunity starts on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, or Sunday, September 8, 2024. Join either the Sunday or Tuesday 7-week class tracks. Both are one-hour Adult Improv courses. (You will make the fee back with the work you will get after taking Ed’s class.)
From COCA’s website: Improvisation teaches poise, quick thinking, and cooperation and develops the ability to create and communicate physically and vocally. In this class, students participate in improvisational structures (games) and exercises to build confidence and communication skills—no previous training is required.
