Metro Theater Company is seeking actors for our upcoming world premiere production of But What Can You Do? by Myah Gary, based on the picture book by Arika Parr and Ava Johnson with illustrations by Misra Karahan.

All of Ava’s classmates seem to excel at many things…especially cartwheels! Ava is not so good at cartwheels, and after many attempts – and just as many tumbles – she feels sad. But with a little encouragement from her mom, Ava makes an exciting discovery. Though she may not be able to do some things, she has countless other talents. And they should all be celebrated!
This production is a world-premiere stage adaptation of But What Can You Do? by local mother-daughter picture book author duo Arika Parr and Ava Johnson and which will tour the STL Region.
