Lead Female Role in “Hellevator” a Short horror/thriller Student Film

Southwestern Illinois College Film Program

Role: Victoria
Gender: Female
Age: 28-35
Ethnicity: Open
Character Description:

Victoria is a confident, driven woman in her early 30s, working in a high-pressure corporate environment. She often appears composed and pragmatic, but beneath her calm exterior, she harbors stress and frustration from her daily routine. She prefers to keep to herself, selectively socializing, and values her personal space. Over the course of the film, Victoria’s strong-willed demeanor is shattered as she faces escalating terror in an isolated, supernatural setting. The role requires a performer with strong emotional range, capable of portraying subtle annoyance, growing panic, and intense fear.

Skills Required:

Strong ability to convey fear, anxiety, and vulnerability in an enclosed space.
Experience in physical acting, as the role involves intense emotional reactions, movement, and physical stunts.
Ability to carry a film as the lead in a confined, solo performance for extended scenes.
Previous experience in horror/thriller genres is a plus.
Production Dates: November 1st-3rd
Location: Southwestern Illinois College

Please submit a headshot, resume. A self-tape performing a brief scene depicting fear and panic would be amazing!
