Casting Notice

A Call to Conscience Interactive Theatre for Social Change and Bread and Roses Missouri will hold auditions for our second annual Social Justice Shorts Festival, an evening of short plays and monologues on a wide variety of social justice issues that may include racial justice, economic justice, LGBTQIA+ justice, reproductive justice, environmental justice, transgender rights, disability rights and more. Evening and weekend rehearsals begin April 28. Production is on June 6-8 at Metro Theater Company for 4 performances. Seeking to cast up to 12 actors across a spectrum of age, race and gender expression.

Actors may be cast in one or more short plays or monologues with a stipend of between $300-$500.

Auditions will be held from 6:00-9:00 pm on Sunday, April 13 and Monday, April 14 from 6:00-9:00 pm at Gibson Height Presbyterian Church, 1075 S. Taylor ( in the Grove neighborhood). Entrance to the Church will be on the Arco side under the UPPER ROOM awning. Auditions are by appointment only and can be scheduled by contacting Fannie Belle Lebby via text @314-584-9206 or email fannie.c2c@gmail.com Bring headshot, resume and prepare a one-minute monologue of choice, or be prepared to read sides from the short plays.
