The RC Races is a fun and wild adventure set in the St Louis and Osage Beach, MO areas. Our table read is scheduled on the 21st of June and we still need these characters listed:
Derrick Thompson: Early 20’s, male, any ethnicity. Athletic/Bodybuilder type. (Preferably 6′ or taller, but not required). He’s a gym loving, upbeat problem solver who gets along with people very well. Note: this role requires light kissing. Also must be comfortable performing while driving. (Lead)
Elijah Ali: 20-30 years old, male, any ethnicity. Stoner character. Chill, reserved and focused on his racing, however, he can get distracted very easily. Very little dialogue. Ability to improv and pantomime is a plus. Note: this character simulates smoking weed. Herbal joints will be provided. (Supporting)
Bill Dixon: 20’s-50’s. Male. Caucasian. Lively, cheerful, midwestern and street smart homeless man (with a minor drug addiction) who has dedicated his life to winning the RC Races. (Supporting) Note: this character simulates smoking weed. Herbal joints will be provided.
Buddy: 20’s-60’s. Any gender. Any ethnicity. A pedestrian that falls victim to Bill’s clever panhandling trick. (Supporting)
Babes: 20’s. Female. Any ethnicity. The stereotypical “hot chicks” usually seen in groups of three, slow motion, peeking over the sunglasses type. Note: No dialogue. No Nudity. (Supporting)
Extras: Friends/Families enjoying a picnic, playing in the park, etc.
