Bread and Roses Missouri seeks three female-presenting actors to play a variety of characters of various ages and lived experiences in a new play based on the collected stories of St. Louis caregivers by Mariah Richardson, directed by Deanna Jent. The Caregiving Project: Who’s Taking Care of Momma? will premiere August 2-3, with touring performances at other venues in the St. Louis Metro area, as scheduled, through Fall, 2024.

Evening and weekend rehearsals begin July 8. Compensation is $1500 with additional compensation for scheduled performances after August 3. Seeking actors who have flexibility in their schedule as some performances may be during the daytime hours. Female-presenting actors of all racial backgrounds and cultural identities are encouraged to audition.

Please send acting resume and a link to a self-tape monologue of one minute or less to info@breadandrosesmo.org no later than Friday, June 7. Please also indicate availability for a potential live callback audition on Saturday afternoon, June 8.
