Chorus of Fools invites non-Equity actors to in-person auditions for its 2025 season,

You will then receive an email containing your assigned audition time and the audition sides. There is no need to bring printed copies with you to audition.
The Pavement Kingdom: A Clinic Escort Play by Courtney Bailey, performing January 30 – Feburary 2, 2025 (Rehearsals December 27 – January 29, Weeknights)
- Charon: f/nb, a youthful guardian who loves good bit
Bigfoot Diaries by Eric Satterfield, performing January 30 – Feburary 2, 2025, (Rehearsals December 27 January 29, Weeknights)
- Marty: 20s-30s, m, hides behind the Bigfoot persona to mask his fears and insecurities. He’s haunted by guilt over past mistakes and struggles to face the truth.
- Cassie: 20s-30s, f, strong and independent, funny
- Ruby Lee: 40s-50, f, a no-nonsense sheriff, tough but compassionate
- Daniel: 17, m, a manipulative teenager
- TJ Riggins: 20s-30s, f, a deputy, eager but inexperienced
- Teresa Claypool: 40s-50s, f, Daniel’s mother, protective of her son and overwhelmed by his troubles

- Chad: 30s-40s, m, Gabby’s brother and best friend, also abused by his mother for his sexuality

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- These productions may contain adult language, sexual content, references to suicide ideation, food addiction, abuse, and other mature content.
- Actors auditioning must be 18 years or older.
- Actors of all races and ethnicities are encouraged to audition.
- The character Charon in The Pavement Kingdom plays the ukelele.
- Knowledge of the instrument is helpful, but we’d also love to see those willing to learn.
- Auditions for the role of Charon in The Pavement Kingdom will only be scheduled between 1 pm and 3 pm.
- Those not reading for Charon should request times between before 1pm or after 3pm.
- The roles of Leo and Gabby in Heavy have already been cast.
- Elsinore takes place over a period of fifteen years. At the beginning of the play Hamlet, Ophelia, and their peers are fifteen years old. By the end of the play, they are about 30 years old. Only actors 18 and over will be considered for these roles.
