We are looking to cast multiple speaking and non-speaking roles for our short film “Goodbye”
The plot is set in the 1970s and is about a young man named Micheal who is informed that his best friend Amy has been reported missing. After being denied permission to form a search party in an attempt to find Amy, Michael takes it upon himself to investigate Amys disappearance, rescue her and find the person responsible.
Michael: (17-20, Male) Curious high school boy trying to do the honorable thing by finding his missing childhood friend
Mom: (30 or older, female) protective mom who doesn’t get along with her son very well but tries her best to be in his life
Ms. Fiona: (25 or older, Female) suspicious teacher who gets the blame for the missing student
Steve: (17-20, Male) Jealous psychopath who isn’t afraid to kill anyone who wrongs him
Amy (17-20, Female NONSPEAKING ROLE): The young woman who has gone missing.
We are also looking to cast young actors to be extras and play students. Anyone between the ages of 16-20 may apply.
This is a non-paid gig, but food will be provided.
There will be an audition session for multiple student productions hosted by Webster University in room 131 of the Sverdrup Building (located at Webster University) on Sunday, October 6th starting at 12pm and will run all day till about 5pm. It is a first come first serve basis however so expect potential delays if you are to arrive later in the day.
Portfolios, Reels and Headshots are not required but would be very much appreciated if they were presented at the auditions or sent to either the director or producers emails down below.
