Audition Notice
A Call to Conscience Interactive Theatre for Social Change and Bread and Roses Missouri will hold auditions for our third annual Social Justice Shorts Festival , an evening of 10-minute plays and short monologues on a wide variety of social justice issues that include racial justice, economic justice, LGBTQIA+ justice, reproductive justice, immigrant rights, and more. Evening and weekend rehearsals begin May 11. Production is June 5-7 at the Jefferson Avenue Mission for 3 performances. Seeking to cast multiple actors across a spectrum of age, race and gender expression. Specific roles include (but are not limited to):
1 Latinx Male, 20s-30s
1 Non Binary Teen
1 White Female
2 Asian American Pacific Islander Female, 20s
1 Black Female, 50s-60s
1 Trans Female, POC, 20s
Multiple roles for female actors of color, 20s-40s
Multiple roles for White males, 30s-40s
Actors may be cast in one or more short plays or monologues with a stipend of between $150-$300
Auditions will be held on Saturday, May 2 at the University City Library from 9-11 and 2-5. Auditions are by appointment only and can be scheduled at this link: https://forms.gle/MfQYs6hyF5zCW9qb9
